Responsibilities:
Security Agents Overview:
Following policies set forth by the Company in concert with the Executive Management Team, provide support in the general operation of the company through maintaining a safe and secure environment for its employees and visitors to the facility.

Essential Functions:
Secure all exterior entrances/exits, parking lots, and perimeter fences to detect that no breaches of security have occurred Respond to any distress calls made by Deep Roots Harvest Staff Conduct routine patrols and site walks with staff to ensure awareness of any potential security issues Ensure that only Deep Roots employees with State of Nevada issued Marijuana Agent Cards enter or remain on the property of Deep Roots Harvest Maintain open communication with facility staff on policies, procedures, and processes Ensure that security Agents ID, document, and issue visitor badges to site visitors and arrange for them to be escorted at all times while on Deep Roots Harvest facility premises Effectively direct and control traffic on Company premises Perform routine and periodic checks to verify all electronic security systems are properly functioning including, but not limited to; alarms, monitoring cameras, and access control card systems Remain vigilant in identifying problems such as unauthorized personnel, alarms indicating fire, or any other potential safety hazards to Deep Roots employees or visitors to the facility Comprehension and demonstration of facility evacuation plans in case of emergency Assist employees and guests of the facility to a safe environment in light of an adverse event Proficiency in First Aid and the use of AED equipment to render aid in an emergency situation Comprehension and demonstration of ability to communicate clearly and concisely on cell phone or two-way radios with Deep Roots Facility, as well as the staff within Monitor and perform follow up investigations on all incident reports filed by security staff Security Supervisor may be asked to act in the capacity of the Security Manager in the event they are unavailable Security Supervisor will supervise, lead and mentor new employees by providing instruction and guidance to comply with policy, procedure and State of Nevada regulations for licensed Marijuana facilities Other duties as assigned Job Specifications:
Operate under the guidelines provided by company policies and procedures Ability to understand and complete all given directives in a timely manner Adherence to all industry standards set forth by Local, State, and Federal regulation Ability to effectively summarize and document incidents for reporting purposes Capacity to work autonomously to achieve daily directives and department goals Flexible work schedule required; to include covering a vacant shift and/or facility issues in emergency situations as needed Represent the company in a professional manner when communicating or interacting with all local community, state, or federal officials Observe and maintain all safety procedures and protocols Additional Functions:
Ability to be flexible and work in various sectors of the department or company as needed and/or requested by their direct supervisor Ability to listen well and communicate effectively orally and in writing with various audiences Ability to use initiative and independent judgment appropriately Ability to apply appropriate public relations skills in various situations and circumstances and to facilitate change as needed The ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment Basic understanding of compliance software and job specific information technology Must have excellent communications skills and attention to detail Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, management, governmental agencies, community members and the general public Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and electronic mail Additional Requirements:
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age Valid Driver's License Clean driving record with no DUI related violations in the past five years Must pass any and all required background checks Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry Minimum Education and
Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Previous security experience preferred Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience Working Conditions:
The working conditions of this position regularly require the employee to be exposed to outdoor elements and seasonal weather conditions While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, walking, gripping, hearing, seeing, standing, sitting, bending, twisting and repetitive motions PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 40 pounds (100 pounds with assistance) Must be able to tolerate dusty, strong smelling marijuana odors, and be able to tolerate exposure to the product Job Type:
